They are examples of the style that is available here at our warehouse. We’ve salvaged thousands of doors over the years and have plenty to choose from. We love designing and building beautiful doors and windows for luxury homes and businesses, but we also take pride in the peace of mind our security doors provide for people. Your regular, run of the mill exterior doors are made of aluminum. They’ll withstand a lot, but they’re not nearly as strong as a steel door.
Some people choose to expose their Cherry lumber to the sun to speed up this process, while others rely upon dye and/or stains to achieve the deep red color. This “break in” period is something of which everyone should be aware, especially when doing restoration work to match existing trim or furniture. The final step in our process is the hand sanding of the doors to break edges, and to finish sand areas that are not sanded by the machine process. When specified we can also book match raised panels and flat panels when used in our louvered doors. Even our economical paint grade louvered doors are manufactured from FAS grade lumber.
